Updated June 28, 2024: Another week has come for Destiny 2, which means missions, challenges, and rewards have been reset. Bungie has given players a look ahead, both in terms of Episodic content over the next year as well as some shorter changes on the way. Specifically, Prismatic Titans have felt underwhelming since the launch of The Final Shape, though Bungie has promised new buffs and tweaks, though no timeframe has been given as of yet.
Bugs also appear to be having a larger impact on the game as of late, with players reporting a number of strange behaviors, including one that rewarded players for simply going idle while in a private match. Certain weapons are also functioning strangely from the No Hesitation auto rifle not breaking a barrier champion, to the Hawkmoon getting disabled by Bungie over a PvP exploit.
Destiny 2 players point out the similarities between The Final Shape’s raid and the Fortnite Metallica crossover event.
For now though, the Destiny 2 weekly reset is back again, bringing refreshed content, activities, and rewards for players to chase over the next week. Weekly Nightfall and Modifiers
Nightfall Strike: The Glassway –Â Bonus Ranks and Loot!
Advanced Modifiers:
- Champions: Barrier and Overload
- Hero Modifiers:Â Extra Shields. Arc, Void, and Solar.
- Galvanized: Combatants have more health and are more difficult to stun.
- Overcharge: Grenade Launcher and Kinetic Weapons when the player’s subclass matches an active Surge element.
- Arach-NO!: When defeated, Fallen Vandals spawn a web mine at their feet.
- Threat: Void
- Surge: Solar and Void
Expert Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Equipment Locked: Unable to change equipment once the mission starts.
Master Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Chaff: Radar is disabled.
- Master Modifiers: Locked Loadout, Extra Champions, and Extra Shields.
Grandmaster Modifiers:
- All previous modifiers.
- Master Modifiers: Extinguish, Limited Revives, Contest, and Join In Progress Disabled.

- Scratch the Surface III: Complete Act 1 Part 3 of “A Rising Chorus.”
- Research and Development III: Complete the research quest for Specimen ID: NES003.
- Aggressive Exploration II: Complete H.E.L.M. Failsafe’s weekly challenge.
- Breach for the Stars: Complete the Episode: Echoes arena activity, Breach Executable, on Expert Difficulty.
- Echoed Challenger – Act 1: Complete all Act 1 weekly challenges.
- Expert Sector: Complete a Lost Sector on Expert Difficulty or higher.
- Spark Defender: Score 50 points in Rift. Bonus progress for igniting the rift.
- Grandmaster – Complete any Nightfall Strike on Grandmaster difficulty.
Exotic Mission Rotation
Bungie brought back various exotic missions for players to run through to earn new rewards, gear, as well as craftable versions of exotic weapons. Like the Raid and Dungeon rotator, this one changes on a weekly basis.

Originally introduced during Season 17, Bungie features Raids and Dungeons in a weekly rotation to make them farmable with updated rewards.

Trials of Osiris Map and Weekly Adept Weapon
Saint-14 and the Trails of Osiris offer players a high-end PvP activity in exchange for powerful rewards, especially for players who go flawless and earn a trip to the Lighthouse. Similar to most vendors in Destiny 2, Saint-14 has a reputation system that rewards players for ranking up through playing and completing bounties.
